Open Knitting

Mondays 5pm-7pm, Wednesdays 1pm-3pm, Thursdays 5pm-7pm & Saturday 10am-5pm

Please join us for open knitting every Monday evening, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday evening and Saturdays! It’s a great way to get help and spend time with your fiber loving friends!! If you are interested in having your group meet in our space on a different day and time, just let me know and I’ll put it on the schedule!


"Skill Building Knitting Group"

Are you looking to learn new stitches and new techniques? Are you looking for inspiration for a new project but don’t feel advanced enough in your skills? Are you stuck on a current project? Join us for these Tuesday morning skill building sessions. Each person receives individualized attention on their specific needs. The group will include instruction and comradery as we all learn from each other! (6 people max)

3rd Tuesday of Every Month 1:00-4:00pm Free!!

Bring your spinning wheel or drop spindle and spend the afternoon with friends! Experienced spinners will join us to answer questions or give assistance. No pre-registration is required!


Crochet Animals

Saturday, August 26th, 10:00am-1:30pm Cost: $40.00 Instructor: Joan Hoffmeyer

Joan will be teaching us how to make an amigurumi animal using crochet. Amigurumi is a term that covers the beautiful and fun trend of crocheting and knitting stuffed animals, people or even inanimate objects. The exact pattern will be “Shaun the Sheep” and is absolutely adorable. (6 people max; supplies not included)


Blocking Seminar

Wednesday, September 13th, 5:30pm-7:30pm Cost:$25.00 Instructor: Eleni Adkins

Take the fear out of blocking and learn how to determine the proper blocking method for your project. Join us for light appetizers and beverages, and watch as we demonstrate various blocking techniques, how to identify the right tools for your project, and how to apply them. Blocking kits will be available at a discounted price for students. Kits will include, blocking mats, pins, wires, combs, and a sample of Eucalan. Pre-registration is required, space is limited to 12 participants, as this is an exclusive after-hours event.


Painting with Yarn: How to “Doodle” Your Way to a Shawl

Saturday, September 23rd, 1:00pm-4:00pm Cost:$35.00 Instructor: Sherri Hruby

We’re doing this one more time!!! Let your inner creative out, or fake it until you make it (the shawl, that is)! Learn this easy way to start a shawl and add to it with short rows that let you “paint” with the colors of your yarn. The result will be curved rows of knitting, deliberate pools of color, and a beautiful one-of-a-kind creation that you’ve made. We’ll start the shawl shape and learn the “doodle knitting” technique you can easily use to create the rest of the shawl in free form. If you’re good at the knit stitch, you can do this! (8 people max; supplies not included)


Intro to Rigid Heddle Weaving

Saturday, October 7th, 9:00am-4:00pm (Lunch break included) Cost: $165.00 (loom & supplies not included) Instructor: Eleni Adkins

Learn all about Rigid Heddle Weaving including: all parts of the loom, how to set up the loom correctly, how to do weaving math, and general weaving terminology. Eleni will help you warp your loom and experiment with weft color choices, getting you on your way to creating a beautiful scarf (or two) with fringe. (6 people maximum per class)


All classes must be paid for at the time of registration. If a class is cancelled due to low registration, a full refund will be given. If a customer cannot attend a class, 24 hr cancellation notice is required for a refund otherwise credit will be given toward another class. As classes might have waiting lists, this is a courtesy to those who might be waiting for a spot. Thank you!
